The Outing

Today, as the weather was sunny and it was a Sunday, my family decided to go cycling in East Coast Park. I felt that it was a way to destress after getting dumped with so much homework and projects. To think that it was only the first two weeks. We went with my aunts, uncles and cousins, so it was pretty much very fun and exciting.

We had breakfast first at Mcdonald's as our stomachs were empty. After filling up our stomachs, it was time for fun. Each of us rented bicycles and we cycled all around East Coast Park. I could even see Victoria School from there. I have to admit, it was rather tiring and my legs ached after cycling such a distance. Nonetheless, it was very enjoyable.

After returning our bikes, we found a perfect spot to lay out our mats and organised all of our belongings. Then, all the children, including me, built sandcastles while the adults sat on the mats and chated. We had a little competition to see who could build the most amazing sandcastle. It is quite childish but we had lots of fun.

I had so much fun that we did not realise that it was already noon. We packed all of our belongings and got rid of all the sand stuck in between our feets. We had our lunch first as all of us were almost depleted of energy. After refilling our stomachs, it was time for us to separate. After being re-energized and having a load being lifted out of my mind, I am prepared for school tomorrow.
